This is where we get together here at the facility and really discuss what your dogs challenges are and what your needs are.
We get to the root of the challenge and we then set up a workable training protocol for you and your dog. This is where you will have the opportunity to learn more than you ever imagined about canine and human psychology!!
From this time together you will learn exactly what is going on with your dog and we will learn what is exactly going on for you and together we will create fun, understandable and successful tools to have the two of you be able to meet in the middle!

PERSONAL HOME VISITS FOR NON AGGRESSIVE DOGS ONLY

Home visits are very beneficial for people with multiple dogs or family members, challenging schedules and or at home challenges such as window barking, house soiling and door manners. These visits are fun personal and we don't leave until we have taught you the tools to successfully work with after we are gone. We are also available for phone questions after your home visit just in case you need a few more suggestions.

PERSONAL CONSULTATION WITH MICHELE FOR AGGRESSIVE DOGS ONLY

This is an intense hour and a half of giving you the opportunity to fully and safely discuss how your dog's aggression has affected both you and your loved ones lives. In this time together we will focus on the route cause of your dogs' aggression and discuss veterinarian care, holistic care, blood panels, calming herbs, training protocols and get right down to the honest truth about your dogs behavior. This time also includes the option of animal communication as well which has proven to be an amazing tool to get to the route of most aggression challenges.
At the end of our session you will have a full protocol that includes lots of homework and perhaps even working together with another personally selected professional trainer that specialize in aggressive behavior.

In these 4 personal sessions we address your specific and personal needs with your dog's behavior and obedience. One on one care is the way to go for a lot of people that can't get their needs met in a class room setting for any reason. It gives you the opportunity to work one on one with a trainer and set up tools that work specifically for you and your dog no matter what the challenge or need. These sessions are personal, empowering and fun and we break things down or speed things up for you so you can learn with your own time and abilities.

8 WEEK PUPPY CLASSES WITH MICHELE OR JENI AND STAFF MEMBER.

The focus of puppy class is the safety and well being of your new puppy. We take this relationship very seriously yet have as much fun as we can in the learning process. Each week you will learn 2 new training tools and there will be a review of the previous week's lessons and active small tests to continually see where and how you are doing. We take into account the fact that all puppies and people learn at different paces so the classes are kept very small and personal so everyone's needs are addressed. We intensely explore canine wellness and psychology in these classes so you have a clear understanding of the pet that you now share your life with. In 8 small weeks we will explore the full extent of puppy training and ownership so you and your dog can understand and enjoy a safe long relationship. We also make ourselves available to you for questions and concerns during the lifetime of your dog. Your dog is our dog and we enjoy each and everyone of you more that you will ever know.

8 WEEK ADULT CLASSES WITH MICHELE OR JENI AND STAFF MEMBER

Adult classes cover manners, obedience, impulse control, pulling, barking, lunging, dog to dog interaction and much more. In these classes we work for 50 minutes then have 10 minute question and answer period in order to address your needs.
With only 5 dogs per class you have a great opportunity to learn all about your dog and how to get him/her to want to work with you. These classes are fun, interactive and personal. We follow a set week by week training schedule yet also pay close attention to your immediate needs in class and tend to switch things up at will.
Occasionally during class ones dog will become unruly or over stimulated and we have a separate room for you to work in so you can accomplish your goal while your dog settles down. On the rare occasion a continuously unruly dog will be moved over to private sessions so you can still accomplish your goals.

5 WEEK ADULT FUN CLASSES WITH MICHELE OR JENI AND STAFF MEMBER

Adult fun classes are a 55 minute fun, upbeat, fast interactive class that combines basic obedience, agility, tricks and pack walks. 5 dogs per class maximum and you and your dog must have completed puppy or adult class with Connective Training to particpate.

CLASSROOM ATTENDANCE INFORMATION:

Here at Connective Training we have recognized that training is progressive and attendance is extremely important to you and your dogs' success. Please be fair to yourself and your dog by signing up for classes only when the time is right for the both of you. Missing classes will put you behind and make you feel very uncomfortable.

The education and instruction given each week helps build understanding and balance for the relationship between you and your dog.

We start out simple and each week we build on this with new techniques and new information so everyone can have success in their training experience. If at the end of the 6 or 8 weeks you are still experiencing challenges, we encourage you to book a private session in order to easily address your very specific needs. Lots of people return to the same class or advanced classes in order to really be comfortable with what they have learnt. Every dog and every person will learn in their own time and space and we are always happy to see you here again. Never ever underestimate the value of returning to class and know that no class is the exact same as the last. We have witnessed amazing results from people and their dogs that struggled through the first set of classes only to become the class star. Never ever give up on your dog and realize that it takes between 3000-6000 repetitions in order to create a perfect behavior. Let us support you to comfortably gain success with your dog and allow yourself all the time you need to feel that you have the tools to move forward without us.

Here at Connective Training we train all breeds and all ages. Extremely disruptive or challenging dogs may be asked to work in the back room with a private instructor until the dog calms down. If this continues we may shift you over to personal sessions in order to give you the care and attention that you need and deserve. Classes are kept to a maximum of 5 dogs in the adult class and in 6 puppies in puppy class in order for you to have the best learning experience possible.
