One of the most amazing things that I have ever had the God given pleasure to speak in my life time this far is,"I WORK WITH DOGS". It took what felt like a life time to listen to my heart and soul and move forward into the realm of dogs.

Every single event in my life has added up to the moment of realizing that to be truly happy I must follow my passion and work with these angelic creatures. Over the years I have had the blessing of studying under some of lifes true masters and the education that I have accumulated from this as well as lifes personal lessons have lead me to a place where I am able to educate people upon the true nature of their beloved pet.

My passion has simply taken off into what you see today with CONNECTIVE TRAINING ™ . Not only a leader in dog obedience training, we now offer seminars, apprenticeship programs and have begun offering dog obedience day courses throughout British Columbia and will be expanding even further.

( PERSONALLY TRAINED FOR YEARS BY MICHELE )

As a child, you would not find dolls in my toy chest, but a barnyard and jungle full of stuffed and plastic animals of all shapes and sizes! For as long as I can remember I've been fascinated and drawn to animals. As a child, I spent countless hours in the backyard with our dogs, cats and hamsters, training them to do various tricks. They were always in my heart. As a teenager I worked with horses, competing in dressage, jumping and cross country. As a young adult I lived with birds, lizards, fish and cats. But always, my heart returned to dogs.

As soon as we had enough room, I adopted and started to work with my own dogs. Our most recent rescue, Irwin, brought me to Michele and CONNECTIVE TRAINING ™ . Although I had known Michele for years, this was the first time I had the opportunity to work with her and my companion dogs. That was the moment my life changed. Michele has given me a wonderful opportunity to work with dogs and people….my dream come true! She combines psychology, communication, relationship building, spirituality, Chinese and alternative medicines and modalities to provide a rich learning environment. To me, it made sense, it worked, and I was hooked! It felt like coming home.

I have worked in a client relations role for most of my life, supporting others in their need for information or assistance. I have extensive training and experience in communicating with others, mediating and consensus building. My own health has led me down the alternative medicine path, where I found healing and life changing experiences. These experiences and skills move forward with me in my work with dogs and people, to help build and enrich their relationships. In return, I find that I continue to learn, each and every day, from every dog and person I have the opportunity to work with.

Since working and training with Michele, I have continued my education in the fields of animals and healing, including animal communication, dog behavioural and training seminars and Reiki energy healing. By working through my own relationship challenges and issues with my own rescue dogs, and now enjoying the calm, balanced, and mutually beneficial and loving relationships that we do, I am driven to help others enjoy the same transformation. I have found peace in following my heart, and it has led me to work with dogs, to learn from dogs, and to support our quest to enhance and improve our relationships with the beautiful, mysterious, majestic, goofy, loving canines in our lives. I am thrilled to be on this journey, and welcome you to share it with me!

PRACTICING STUDENT

Emma is a practicing student with CONNECTIVE TRAINING ™ and has been with us for just over 2 years. Emma has demonstrated an amazing ability to see the good in each avery dog that has come through CONNECTIVE TRAINING ™ . Whether it is a small aggressive beagle or a nervous 165 lb great dane Emma brings out the joy in every animal. You might see Emma at class sessions.

The moment Emma arrives for a session her smile does not stop .... that will be her, the one making your dog jump for joy! Emma is now a proud owner of her own dog walking company.
